BitZen is built on a simple principle: your thoughts are yours alone. We designed this app to help you release what's on your mind, not to collect or analyze it. Privacy isn't a feature we added - it's the foundation of everything we do.
We don't collect anything. No personal information. No usage analytics. No crash reports. No tracking of any kind. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to know who you are or what you write.
Everything you write in BitZen stays on your iPhone. Your session history is stored locally using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere. When you delete the app, everything is gone.
BitZen doesn't require any account creation, sign-up, email address, or personal information. You download it, you use it. That's it.
Your data is not synced to iCloud or any other cloud service. This is intentional. BitZen is meant to be ephemeral - a place where thoughts come to dissolve, not to be stored and synchronized.
If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, BitZen will write your mindful session duration to Apple Health. Only the session duration is recorded - we never share the content of your thoughts. This data is stored in your personal Apple Health container and is protected by Apple's privacy policies.
BitZen contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, no third-party services. We don't know how often you use the app, what scenes you prefer, or how long your sessions are. Your experience is completely private.
Your past sessions are stored locally on your device. The text is blurred by default as a reminder that these thoughts have been released. You can view or permanently delete any session at any time. This history exists only on your device.
